Wendy develops and implements HACCP and Quality programs, provides nutritional labeling and shelf life study support to the agri-food sector, and coordinates AgraPoint's Food Safety Training Program.
Through nine years as Quality Assurance Supervisor and Manager in the poultry industry, Wendy has gained extensive knowledge of meat processing and industry regulations under the CFIA Meat Manual of Procedures and the Food Safety Enhancement Program. Her expertise ranges from HACCP development, Quality Program implementation, conducting and coordinating product and environmental micro testing, shelf life studies, as well as team training in HACCP principles, employee hygiene and standard operating procedures. Wendy has developed an appreciation for the regulations that govern the food industry and has worked hard at being an effective liaison between industry management and government organizations. Wendy has received training in several leadership and management courses and has exceptional organization capabilities, crisis management and client service skills. |
