Sarah is a key first contact for producers looking for information and also proactively delivers information on events and resources available to farmers. Her success in meeting clients' needs stems from her exceptional communication skills and internet-based research expertise. She has a tremendous broad base of knowledge in all production areas, government programs and where to go for relevant and leading edge information. Recent projects have included an industry assessment for the Nova Scotia Tree Fruit Industry, corralling production information for the NS Grape Industry’s NSCC short course, providing project coordination and delivery of the NS Biosecurity Implementation Program - Part of Canada-Nova Scotia Bilateral Agreement under Growing Forward as well as composition and execution of the web portion of the Highbush Blueberry Blight Forecasting deliverable to NS blueberry producers on a seasonal basis. |
