As part of AgraPoint's Quality and Food Safety Team, Geoff develops and implements HACCP-based programs with clients.
He has over 10 years experience in the food industry having worked as a Quality Assurance Manager with Nova Agri Inc., a Food Safety/Sanitation Manager with Frito Lay Canada and an Account Manager with Sani Marc Inc.
Geoff has worked with a number of national industry associations. He supported the development of an Employee Orientation Program for the National Seafood Sector Council; developed an On-Farm Food Safety (OFFS) Training Program with the Canadian Horticultural Council; reviewed the Smal Fruit OFFS Program with the Canadian Horticultural Council; and sat as a member of the Canadian Produce Marketing Association Food Safety Steering Committee. He has a B.Sc in Agricultural Chemistry from the Nova Scotia Agricultural College and a Diploma in Chemistry Laboratory Technology Diploma. |
