As part of AgraPoint’s Quality and Food Safety team, Elaine works with clients on food safety and quality plan development and overall process and production efficiencies, as well as new product development. She also has experience with the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) standards (i.e. SQF 2000) and has worked with processors to obtain certification.
With over 15 years of manufacturing experience, first as a Quality Assurance Specialist at Hershey Canada (Moirs) and then with Scotsburn Dairy as a Research and Development Analyst, Elaine has extensive knowledge and skills in all aspects of the production process.
Elaine can assist clients in building quality systems, documenting standard operating procedures, analysing consumer complaint data, implementing quality control programs, and earning Kosher certification, new product development and training employees. She also has practical experience evaluating the quality of products through quality and microbiological sampling and testing.
Elaine works in the AgraPoint's Truro office located at AgriTECH Park.
