Bill Thomas is a certified crop advisor with over 25 years of experience in agronomy.
He worked as the Nova Scotia provincial forage specialist for 16 years before joining the AgraPoint team as a field crop specialist. He has also been a lecturer at the Nova Scotia Agricultural College. Bill began his career in agricultural research with the provincial and federal governments in British Columbia.
Bill’s specific skills and strengths include expertise in grazing management; forage quality; nutrient management; soil fertility and management; extension education; adaptive research; and written and oral communication. Bill has a Diploma in Biological Sciences from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, a B.Sc. in Agriculture, majoring in Agronomy, from the University of British Columbia, and a M.Sc. from Dalhousie University. |
