GARLIC WORKSHOP
There has been a tremendous interest in garlic production in recent years. This workshop will focus on garlic production and disease prevention. White rot, the most devastating disease of entire onion family (garlic, onion, leek) has been confirmed in Nova Scotia last year. Strategies how to prevent spread of white rot and how to diagnose the disease will be discussed. Participants are encouraged to bring samples of their past season’s garlic crop, if available.
