The Nova Scotia Department of Agriculture and AgraPoint are pleased to offer a hay and forage listing service to connect farmers with excess hay or forage with those needing additional inventory.
This listing and service is offered at no charge.
We are accepting listings for hay, forage, haylage and silage.
Sellers
Please call the hotline number at 1-866-606-4636 (toll-free) or email us with the following information:
1) Contact Name, phone number and e-mail
2) County
3) Product Details:
- type (hay, haylage, silage)
- composition (grass, mixed hay, etc.)
- bale size, if applicable (4 x 4 round, etc.)
- test results for crude protein and/or ADF, if available
Please also give permission to post the above information on this site for buyers to review.
Buyers
Please call the hotline number at 1-866-606-4636 (toll-free) or e-mail us. We will provide you with a list of any sellers in the counties you specify who can possibly meet your needs. We do not contact sellers on behalf of buyers.
