Please note: training is based on Version 7 Standards
Safe Quality Food (SQF) programs are fully integrated food safety and quality management protocols designed specifically for the food industry with application to all links in the food supply chain. SQF certification provides an independent and external validation that a product, process or service complies wth international, regulatory and/or other specified standards. It enables food suppliers to give assurances that food has been produced, prepared and handled according to the highest possible standards.
At the end of the program, participants will be able to:
- Describe the SQF System principles, activities and terminology
- Discuss the SQF 2000 Code
- Perform a hazard analyis using the 12 steps of HACCP as a guidel
- Perform a risk assessment for quality
- Writing Procedures
- Implement and maintain SQF Systems
- Develop, validate and verify your food safety and quailty plans, and quality controls
- Use sound techniques to maintain and improve your food safety and quality controls
- Understand appropriate use of the SQF logo
